El año 2020 ha sido peculiar y no muy amigable en múltiples aspectos, pero se trató de una excelente temporada para el mundo de los videojuegos.
A pocas semanas de finalizar el año, ya se han anunciado los videojuegos nominados en la gala de The Game Awards, un evento anual que reúne a toda la industria en un espectáculo en el que se combinan anuncios sobre futuros títulos, actuaciones musicales y entrega de premios a los nombres más destacados del año en distintas categorías.
Hasta ahora, se sabe que The Last of Us Part II, el videojuego exclusivo de PlayStation desarrollado por Naughty Dog, será el gran favorito de este año al presentarse en 9 categorías, pero le pelea de cerca el Hades al aparecer en 8. Ambos están nominados a Juego del Año.
A esta última categoría, se suman otros títulos que igual destacaron por su gran impacto a lo largo de 2020. Entre ellos, encontramos el Animal Crossing: New Horizons, DOOM Eternal Y Final Fantasy VII Remake.
