Sega anunció oficialmente la nueva mini consola Sega Genesis Mini 2 a principios de este verano y por fin confirma los juegos que incluirá, presentando varias joyas.
El Sega Genesis Mini 2 lanzará el 27 de octubre, exclusivamente a través de Amazon en América del Norte.
Además de simplemente incluir más títulos que no estaban disponibles en el primer Sega Genesis Mini, Sega Genesis Mini 2 incluye notablemente juegos de CD de Sega.

Un representante de Sega le dijo recientemente a Polygon que el Genesis Mini 2 tendrá solo una décima parte del suministro del Sega Genesis Mini de 2019 debido a la actual escasez mundial de semiconductores.
El Sega Genesis Mini 2 ncluirá más de 50 videojuegos precargados junto con un contro de seis botones, un cable HDMI de alta velocidad, un cable de alimentación USB y un adaptador de CA. Las dimensiones de la consola miden 120,8 mm de ancho por 32,3 mm de alto por 116,5 mm de profundidad.
